Are you below 18 years old? Are you pregnant or just delivered a baby within the last 3 months? Have you breastfed within the last 6 months? Did your mother or sister suffer from breast cancer before their menopause? Do you have a history of abnormal mammogram or breast biopsy? Do you have a history of severe or painful fibrocystic breast changes? Do you have a breast lump or cyst now? Do you have radiation therapy to your chest area previously? Do you have chronic acne, eczema or hyper-pigmentation and other skin conditions affecting your chest? Do you have an allergy to silicone? (Note: silicone is used in the domes and will not be absorbed in any way by the breasts) Are you on narcotic pain medications and blood thinners? Do you have a history of alcohol abuse or illegal substance use? Are you prone to keloid formation? (Note: keloid is a form of raised scar) If you answer yes to one or more of the above questions, you may not be a suitable candidate. Check with your doctor if you are unsure. Women can use Brava three months post-pregnancy and six months post milk-feeding.
